We are now just two weeks away from race weekend for the 2024 Biogen Pete Marlin Surfski Race, and in 14 days time some of you will be arriving at the EL Surf Lifesaving Club at Nahoon Beach to register in preparation for two days of fun paddling on our beautiful ocean off the East London coast.
There are one or two subtle changes and improvement to the event this year with a new timing system that we are sure you will like. The results will be posted online in almost real time, so your family and friends can see the winners and finishers within a few minutes of paddlers crossing the line.
However, that means we need to have all the "admin" sorted before you arrive and so we ask you to please check the PROVISIONAL BATCHES which were posted this week for both the singles and doubles races at singles-day-batches and doubles-day-batches.
We have tried to batch as accurately as possible with information we have, but if you think we have made a significant error, we are happy to entertain any queries, preferences or changes – only via email to info@petemarlin.co.za – and we will action accordingly.
Please also use this opportunity to ensure that we have captured your doubles combinations correctly. For us to get the correct information to the timekeepers, it is important to have this information accurate.
We will send details on timing chips, race number and shirt collection as well as other final race instructions after entries have close on October 28th. |
